Itinerary
DAY 1: DRIVE/FLY FROM NAIROBI TO SAMBURU
Drive from Nairobi to Samburu (5hrs) with a stopover in Nanyuki.Transfer to hotel for lunch and afternoon leisure. Set off for evening safari at 4pm and return at sunset.
DAY 2: MORNING AND EVENING SAFARI
Samburu is one of the semi-arid destinations of Northern Kenya. Temp are high during the day and cool in the evening and early morning. We use this advantage to get the most from the breathtaking landscapes/wildlife active in the morning and evening light. Complimentary morning and evening safari.
DAY 3: SAMBURU TO MERU
Drive up the hills of Meru as you enjoy the green lushy landscapes. Arrive for late lunch at camp and afternoon leisure. Set off for evening safari at around 4pm till sunset and back for dinner.
DAY 4: MERU MORNING AND EVENING SAFARI
Zebras typically gather in herds for safety and socialization. You will often see them grazing together, standing in close proximity to one another and a lot of birdlife.
DAY 5: DRIVE FROM MERU TO OL PEJETA
After breakfast drive 4 hrs to Ol Pejeta conservancy. Arrive early for lunch and afternoon leisure and set off for evening safari. Drive back to lodge for evening safari and early night. Great opportunity to photograph Rhinos, amazing landscapes and Mt. Kenya if the skies are clear.
DAY 6: OL PEJETA MORNING AND EVENING SAFARI
Complimentary Morning and sunset safari with optional visit to the Rhino Sanctuary And watch chimpanzees in their natural conserved areas. After sunset, return to the lodge for dinner and night.
DAY 7: DRIVE FROM OL PEJETA TO LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, drive 3 hrs to Lake Nakuru National park and arrive for lunch and afternoon leisure. Set off for evening safari till sunset and return to lodge for dinner and dinner. Great photographic experience while driving along the Lake shores. Good opportunity to see the White Rhino and Flamingoes.
DAY 8: DRIVE FROM L. NAKURU TO MAASAI MARA NATIONAL
After breakfast, drive through Southwest through the Mau route to the famous Mara. Great farming activities and scenic views of the Mau escarpments. Arrive at the hotel for lunch and set off for evening safari. Great opportunity to see cats and loads of wildlife. Head back to the hotel for dinner and rest.
DAY 9: MORNING & EVENING SAFARI IN MAASAI MARA
Complimentary game drives. Morning/evening safari (great for sunrise and sundowner) Drive to camp for dinner and late lunch.
DAY 10: MORNING & EVENING SAFARI IN MAASAI MARA
Complimentary game drives. Morning/evening safari (great for sunrise and sundowner).Drive to camp for dinner and late lunch.
DAY 11: FLY/DRIVE TO NAIROBI
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip and fly to Nairobi or drive to Nairobi and fly home.
